LLELA has nine primitive camp sites available for primitive camping.  The campgrounds are near, but not along the river. Camping is walk-in only. Each camp site will hold up to two tends and 10 people. 

The rate for an individual campsite is $10 per night. No reservation is required; first come, first served. Be aware there is also a $5/vehicle day use fee. Our front gate is closed at the end of each day and can't be opened again until 7 a.m. the following day, unless there is an emergency. Lewisville emergency services have access to the campgrounds at all times, however.

Groups of 25 people or more must use the Group Campground.  The Group campground  must be reserved in advance. Please call the Parks & Recreation office at 972.219.3550 for reservations and pricing.
