The Group Campground is for people who want to camp in a group of 25-100 people. It will not hold more than 100 people. Use of the Group Campground is by prior reservation (972.219.3550) only. A community fire ring and several picnic tables are provided. There is potable water at two faucets just outside the pipe rail fence at the edge of the campground. Campers park outside the camping area and must carry gear over the fence into the campground. There is a side gate that can be opened for a person who is unable to step over the fence...contact 469.635.5483 if you have this need. The soil in the area is sandy and may be difficult to move a walker or wheelchair through, however.
