Wild About LLELA is an active summer outdoor day camp where kids aged 7 - 12 have a chance to delve into and connect with nature. Throughout the week kids will enjoy activities such as hiking, birding, pioneer homestead day, while exploring the flora and fauna of LLELA Nature Preserve.

Session 1: June 1 - June 5

Session 2: June 8 - June 12

Session 3: June 15 - June 19

Camp is 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for $150 per camper.  We offer an extended day option to 3 p.m. for an additional $50 per week for a total of $200 per camper. Registration deadline for all sessions is May 28, 2026. Use this link to register

Interested in a scholarship for camp? The Parks & Recreation Scholarship Program is open year-round to community members of all ages who wish to participate in various classes and programs offered through Play Lewisville.

Scholarship Application: The Friends of LLELA offers scholarships for Wild About LLELA Summer Camp through the Lewisville Parks & Recreation Scholarship Program. When applying, indicate that you are interested in LLELA.
