December 6-8, beginning at 7 a.m. Friday and ending at 5 p.m. on Sunday, LLELA will have a partial closure to accommodate the annual Corps of Engineers youth deer hunt. For safety, access east of the Cicada Pavilion is prohibited. This includes the following areas and trails: Bittern Marsh Trail, kayaking and fishing in the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, all camping areas, and the Redbud Trail. Only the Blackjack, Green Dragon, Cottonwood, and Cicada Trails will be open.
