Join the Friends of LLELA for a fun and fascinating lecute on box turtles! 

No one dislikes box turtles. Some people may be indifferent regarding these unassuming reptiles, but no one really dislikes them as there is really nothing to dislike. This presentation will provide knowledge and understanding of these fascinating creatures and thus increase appreciation for the niche they fill in our world. In addition, the box turtle head start project currently underway at LLELA will be described and explained.

There will be hands-on introductions to the turtles themselves as well as seeing the care and process of preparing the turtles to enter back into the wild. This is an event for all ages. Children are welcome!
